Morgan Trainor,
Veterinary Assistant
Morgan grew up in New Hampshire on a small family run farm. She was 5 years old when her parents finally gave in and bought her first pony named Eddie. Her passion for horses grew from there in showing Morgans and Saddlebreds (she has soft spot for the spicy ones!). She became a barn manager to a hunter/jumper farm in NH and then eventually at other farms in Massachusetts.
With extensive experience in handling horses and a continuous desire to learn, she wears many hats; Morgan assists Dr. Nostrant at farm calls, manages phone inquiries while on and off the road, dog-sits Dr. Nostrant's dogs, and lends a helping hand on the farm. Beyond her professional life, Morgan finds joy in serene ocean walks, nurturing her garden, and cozying up with her playful kitten, Georgie. Her love for hiking with furry friends adds to her vibrant personality.

Jenna Kaplan,
Veterinary Assistant
Jenna grew up just outside of Boston. Her love for horses began at age 7, when she started taking horseback riding lessons at summer camp. After begging her parents to sign her up for lessons during the year, it became a tradition that every Saturday they would go to the barn together and stop for macaroni and cheese on the way home.
She continued riding through her teen years, and competed on the IHSA team at the University of Miami, where she graduated with a BA in Criminology. Upon graduating, Jenna returned to the Boston area and spent many years managing large riding programs, taking on every role including equine/herd management, program management, and teaching both therapeutic and recreational riding lessons. While caring for many horses with complex medical needs, she realized that her true passion is in veterinary medicine and is excited to be able to expand her knowledge and help take care of all the horses.
When Jenna is not working, she can be found spending time with her young OTTB, Penelope, and her retired pony, Barney.

Winnie Standeven,
Veterinary Assistant
Winnie recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a minor in biology. With a passion for equestrian sports, Winnie has been riding horses since the age of five, participating in both IEA and IHSA during high school and college.
As a barn manager at various hunter/jumper facilities in Massachusetts and Vermont, she gained valuable experience understanding the health needs of horses and following treatments as needed. Additionally, Winnie has worked as a small animal veterinary technician for four years.
Outside of her professional life, Winnie spends quality time with her 20-year-old thoroughbred gelding, King. When not riding or exploring trails with King, she enjoys the company of her three dogs—Juno, Percy, and Calypso—and her family. Winnie aspires to become a certified veterinary technician and dreams of living on a farm surrounded by animals.
