Horses can have asthma-like respiratory diseases or structural abnormalities within their lungs that prevent them from reaching peak performance. When severe, these changes can even hinder normal breathing while your horse is at rest. North Bridge Equine has the capability to perform upper airway endoscopy and bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) to sample the fluid in the lungs as well as a complete respiratory examination at the farm.
My horse has had a complicated health path for the past few years with a severe tendon injury, subsequent supporting limb laminitis, and metabolic issues.
